Well, it would seem that life has dealt me another tragedy. During SOC training in Tekong, I jumped from the Balancing Beam in SBO and seriously dislocated my right knee. I was hospitalised for 10 days, and now I've returned home to continue my recovery.
I'm on crutches now, and my right leg's in a cast. It would take at least six months for the ligaments in my knee to grow back, maybe more. And after that, I'll have to go for physiotherapy to regain its flexibility. All that might take up to a year. My only goal now is to walk again.
As for the SAF, screw them.
So, too bad, I won't be able to attend for any outings for the time being. I'll just have to stay put and let my knee heal. It's been nice knowing you all. And BMT was really enjoyable while it lasted. That's all I have to say.
