Anybody knows about our local techno band called The Usual Supects?
It used to comprise of Leonard T, Geoffrey Low, Maia Lee and Jason Chow....
Anybody knows about their whereabouts today or their new singles or stg?
I really loved their music during the good old WKRZ days.
my favourite was "The Love You Promised" ... man that was some time back.. 5 years already!
Yea yea... good!
That song was recorded way before Maia Lee went for Singapore Idol....
Although I am not a fan of her, I must agree the music is great!
I managed to purchase their greatest hits collection.

yeah, i realli like the remix version "You Lift Me Up (EXR Remix)" best...
i onli noe Leonard T went on solo continuing to produce his own album coz i got the album.. i reproduce the words from his latest album ('07):
"As Singapore's most prolific award winning electronic artiste (2004 Best Instrumental Compass Award / 1995 Best Local Album Radio Awards), Leonard Tan presents his 2nd solo album. The music here steers away from the techno club sound (Club Ecstasy / The Usual Suspects) that he was previously commercially credited for, and revisits a more retrospective route; Leonard's musical roots... classic 1980's New Wave synth pop & glam disco, but with a modern electro twist."

at least got three versions sung by jamie yeo, tracy tan and carrie
i saw her standing there at the doorstep waiting for u
in the pouring rain i was waiting like a fool
u took her to the place, the place that was just meant for us
i never thought for a second that what i deserve is just
were u whispering sweet nothings into her ears
caressing her body, so much for all of my tears
but don't come back when u think u've had enough
go back to her home, n i will survive on my own
u lift me up u make me feel
what u gave me was for real
now u won't answer the phone
n i'm left here all alone
