What is "Kao Peh"?

  Really wonder what is it? This word is being used in thie forum many times and I really don't know what is it mean?
  
  So far, I manage to figure out what is "Chio bo", but "Kao Peh" really no idea.

  when ur father and/or mother die, the children mus cry damn loud....as noisy as possible.... to show they are filial.....
  
  this is how kao peh kap bu came about initially (cry father cry mother)
  
  now it's used to represent someone "making alotta noise" (aka complain)....
