  what is the sweetest or most touching speech u ever heard during weddings that is meant to describe the bride or the groom?

  I've never heard anything impressive or special. Most of the time, the speaker would do well enough if he didn't stammer or made embarassing grammar mistakes.
  
  That shouldn't stop you from trying to write something nice and personal though.

  i do hear some lousy speeches at weddings. some ok. but none touching one.

  I heard plenty of lousy speeches, ok ones and funny ones but never touching ones.

  Some touching ones may turn out to be too corny,fake or long-winded.:/

  oh! i rbered one....
  quite memorable bcos the groom said it 4 times.........in english, chinese, teochew and cantonese......
  the crowd was teasing him to do malay and tamil versions

  I think most wedding speeches are a bit too rehearsed and standard.
  
  I think it would be better to just be impromptu, casual and sincere. But of course not everyone can carry it off in a "public speaking" environment.
  
  I attended a wedding whereby the bride keep crying because she was too emotional. Although she is sincere i don't think it fit the ocassion. So one really need to find a balance.
