Singapore's most run-down but best bar

Hi everyone, I normally live in Bangkok but am visitng Singapore and looking for a bar a few friends have taken me to before. It is in a very very run down British-style house and has the cheapest drinks in town. Does anyone know what it is called and where it is?

Are you talking about a Tudor-styled hotel along Balmoral Road?

I'm not sure if it was Tudor as I was a tad drunk the last few times I arrived. The bar is in the old lobby of the home just inside where the big fat rolls would have once pulled up. It is really run-down and the ceiling is almost collapsing. Just a simple bar with a very cool old chinese guy selling beer at a couple of dollas a bottle

Or, could it be Colbar at Portsmouth? It's a quaint little cottage where surrounded by fields and trees and old two-storey British colonial houses... A place where time stood still...
