  A bus driver is a bus driver. Dont understand why they need to change to bus captain.

  I am actually interested to drive an SBS bus (esp the Superbus - do they still call them these way now), but I am not interested to drive bus as a career...

  Reason: because if you think about it, it is amazing that such a big and heavy "box" moves for a purpose (i mean the superbus), ya no doubt it is not fast, but it is not slow either, 90kmh shouldnt be a problem, i suppose. Also, think the amount of torque generated to move the bus is amazing, and it is not like lorry, which is rather harsh. To me buses are design to be more refined than lorries.

  I have this idea of converting a sbs superbus into a mobile home. Something like a caravan but it will offer you much more space. Take out all the chairs fixed to it and with the amount of space, it will definately unleash your creativity of how you interior design it.

  Not forgetting that most buses use Voith gearboxes and it only takes a push of a button to change gears.
  
  You want to turn a double deck into a mobile home? I was also thinking about it too, but I favour using the articulated bus.
