  The reason is because I got 4 comps on one router, all four running torrent d/ls with each comp running at least 2 popular seeds. So not really surprised. I've personally seen cable connections running faster than rated, so I can erm in some way tell you location does matter for cable. No, nothing to do with the blackbox.

  it says i have a 50~60kps rate of download. and i don't even have any torrents running.

  the entire world hates me. even cnet rates me at 43kbps. no better than a dial up connection.
