wat movie is this?

  i saw a movie footage at J8 juz now...it is an english movie, showing new york city being consumed by this gigantic tidal wave. then the female lead(i think so ) was trying to retrieve a bag from a cab for someone, but failed to see the big wave coming. the male lead saw it & went back for her. they escaped into a building juz in time but the building was oso hard hit by the waters. oh yah, the female character's name was Laura in it.
