  Any one got any brand of thumb drive good to intro or care to intro some?
  
  I thinking of buying a 512 mb one. Any one knows where to get cheap and good one?

  there are now many brands, Kingston is good, Iomega abit expensive, etc.

  cheap ones many, though i think just as good....not sure...
  
  anyway 512 can be between $50-$120.
  
  another good brand is sony.

  Well, for thumbdrive...get one with big capacity as data are getting larger and larger.
  
  Oh...remember to make sure that is it HIGH-SPEED USB2.0 and not FULL-SPEED USB2.0 as FULL-SPEED is actually USB1.1. Don't get tricked...a lot of brands in the market are Full-Speed USB2.0...what a scam.

  Try Sim Lim Square or Funan IT Mall. Not sure where's the cheapest shop to buy it from. You can try...level 5 of Funan IT Mall...think there's a shop named MemoryWorld...or try Fuwell, VideoPro in Sim Lim Square.

  Think the recommended retail price for 512MB is $179. But you're not going to buy at that price please....go get a cheaper price...best price.

  the thumbdrives nowadays uses USB 1.1 or 2.0? cos mine is still USB 1.1

  If you plan to get digital camera.
  Go for a multicard reader and get a multimedia card.
  
  Then you can use the card for camera and also storage.

  get a mp3 player lah i 3 mons ago saw at sls 199 for 1.5 gb or something now i bet drop to 150 or less le, mp3 then can have other uses also
