About some muslim women who try to observe the islamic hijab laws. It requires women to dress modestly and not show any bodily form What I find weird is that these women will put on tudung but will wear a sexy tight outfit to go with it
So whats the point wearing tudung anyway ?

in the middle east, at least in some countries, the women are required to wear the tudung, or the burqa as it is rightfully called, together with loose clothing..this would be the case in places like saudi arabia and iran..in turkey, they are a bit more open about such things..
i guess the issue with singapore is that we're a tad more cosmopolitan so there's a tendency to fuse it with some allowance for one to be a bit more liberal..
