North Indians are fairer than u and me. They look like caucasians. If marryring a caucasian is considered better, there is none different between North Indian and caucasian.
The Indian stars in the movies are fair and beautiful. Its not right to say that Indians belong to black. Blacks are negroes. And negroes are not Indians.
I can tell that my ex BF who is Indian fair, handsome and is much much better looking than Chinese or Malay guys out there. And Yah , Indian guys are considered hot among some Chinese ladies young and old because they are charming, mature or intelligent and they dont Bitch like u do. -
Asked my gal friends and they say Chinese guys out there think they are god's gift to women.
Many of them complain they are childish, immature and awkward. I am not against chinese guys or watsoever but this is the notion held by them.
And ladies naturally like features like sharp noses , striking eyes and sexy lips which can be found commonly among non-chinese guys like Indian or caucasians., which why some chinese ladies go for them
Sad to say , many of chinese guys in Singapore fail to make the grade.
Good instance : There is this North Indian guy like a Ricky Martin look-alike in my workplace who surprisingly gets attention all the time from non-indian women most of them being chinese. -

Personally I find most indians (fair or dark, north or south) rather dark and not attractive. -
As for me, i admire guys with striking eyes and sharp nose and short hairstyle with neatly combed up fringes (or Armani hairstyle). Good lips would be a bonus though. Caucasians are out for me becos they tend to be unfaithful.
By far among asians , only Indian and Eurasian guys, and some Malays have these features. Yet to cames acorss a Chinese guy with such features.
Never really been impressed by some chinese guys who keep long hair or those standing up like a carpet being vacummed. It just looks so unnatural. these guys make it difficult for me to differentiate between male and female lah. They look like girls and some of them look like the "butches". Only thing they are male. -
