  i think there is a few discussion on this b4..
  anyone been to bangkok recently?
  cos i going on22nd april..
  i will be staying ar karnmanee palace (next to chatuchak market) ..anyone stayed there b4?
  
  or anyone visted chatcuchak recently?
  i been there like 3 yrs back,, love the stuffs there esp those accessories like necklace all that.. are the things still same there?

  ya i only want to go to chatuchak.. i rem the last tiem i went... stay there for 5 days.. then nv really buy alot of things until i go to chatuchak... then i was spend allllll my $$ there!

  if you ony wt go chat2chuck then no nd stay 5days, 3d2n enuf.
  
  Although I can't imagine anybody shopping straight for 3days, here's how:Take flight friday morning, reach there check into hotel, take train/tuk tuk to chatuchak, shop until you pengsan, sunday evening fly back.
  
  but I prefer 1day explore chatuchak, and other days just whack all the nice makan.

  hmm... seems like i didnt say that i m going there for 5 days this time ma...
  i m going on 22nd Fri but reach there at nite.. then next sat & sun will go chaktuchat loh..then fly back on monday morn.. no later flight....

  Maybe let me know if it is good. I'm always staying at the Westin Grande down at Sukhumvit.

  achtually many hotels are good ah .. as long is near skytrain and a market

  Westin Grade fits the above

  Westin izzit very expensive? I stayed at pretty cheap one called First Hotel situated PHetburi Rd nearby is Asia Hotel at Rachathewi station.
  
  Not bad lah, also within walking distance is a garment market district.
  
  I noticed a lot of activity centered ard these markets like roadside makan stalls, fruit vendors, snack vendors, shopping ctrs, hair salons pasar malams etc...

  Yeah it is a pretty expensive hotel, beside Asok Skytrain station. It is in the heart of Bangkok's business, shopping and entertainment areas. There also have those make-shift shops, food centre, food court etc. Pretty close to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and very near the expressway.
