Casting Call (All expenses paid 4-Days production shoot @ JB, Malaysia: Short Film For General Public Broadcast)
Potential Productions is looking for actors/actresses for a short film production intended for general public broadcast. Join this dynamic and professional crew as we take you through 4 exciting days of shoot overseas!
The production will span for a total of 4 FULL days, from 13th May 2005 to 16th May 2005 (Friday Morning to Monday Evening). The production will take place in various locations in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
All production-related expenses (e.g. Accomodation, Food and Transport) will be fully paid and provided for.
Actors/Actresses will get the following benefits:-
1) A portfolio package inclusive of a DVD (useful for future career advancements)
2) Monetary rewards on terms and conditions (under finalizing)
3) To be on the priority cast list for future productions (depending on suitability of roles)
Actors/Actresses must be available for the full 4 production days (13th May 2005 to 16th May 2005). Must be able to stay focused and in control under pressure.
There will be a walk-in audition for the following roles at "The Esplanade". You may walk-in anytime from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 16th April 2005. Do notify us via email or telephone before coming for the audition:-

Breakdown / Background information for Cast:
Lead Male (Below age of 25)
Looks like a decent JC student, only like girls that are quiet and simple and will be there for him at his beck and call. This character thinks that women must always submit to men and that he can teach them a lesson if they do not do so. He is materialistic, romantic, sweet, grew up in a traditional family, cool and suave.
Lead Female (Below age of 25)
This character does micro biology in poly, has long hair, soft spoken, devoted, private, insecure. The actress must be able to do facial expressions well.
Father (Above age of 30)
Must be able to speak hokkien fluently. This character is old-fashioned, caring, yet does not know how to show the care and concern in the right manner (i.e. snaps instead of talk). Protective towards daughter, rash but weak when it comes to his daughter, uninvolved in daughter's life, tries to observe and understand things in a very superficial manner.
Teacher
This character teaches micro-biology in a poly.
Classmates 1 & 2 (Below age of 25)
Typical classmates in a lecture hall setting
