A clear benefit of smoking is stress relieve when you need it.
A secondary benefit is to be able to irritate the hell out of self-righteous health nazis sitting near you. -
One important benefit of Cigarettes. Balances the human population. Some people have to go to make way for new people. The life cycle chain.

Cigarettes.
The God Damned thing about them, is NICOTINE. Yes, this is the chemical in ciggies, that get most smokers hooked like a fish!
I'm a smoker myself, and have tried well over a hundred times to quit. But work related stress, brings me back to it.
So I really do hope, the goernment will ban import and sale of cigarettes. -

if the goverment bans smoking it will create an uproar among smokers

Sometimes, and from time to time, i read of perfectly young men or women, who just drop dead! They exercies daily or weekly, they don't drink or smoke, they eat healthy food, led generally healthy lifestyles. What the hey?
And I see old old men and ladies in coffeshops, sipping their stout and smoking and cursing people under their breath at the ripe old age of 70 or even 80!
This brings to mind the topic of Destiny / Fate. -
Personally, I don't think there are any benefits in smoking.
Firstly, my breath stinks. Second, food doesn't taste much, due to smoking my salt intake increased. Thirdly, they so God Damned expensive! It's over $3000 a year for one pack a day!
Fourth, it's such a hassle having that lump in my pants pocket comprising my lighter and the pack of 20 ciggies. Fifth, my right hand smells of ciggarette smoke - shake someone's hand, and he/she could be spotted washing hands later.
I really wish to quit, but each time work gets too much, I'm a chimney again. -

smoking also good lar. coz a lot of ppl will attend ur funeral coz u die first. not like me last to die, nobody song zhong for me haiz. smokers are lucky.
