Have you ever noticed on MRT that most people are for themselves when comes to seats. They will block the way in order to rush in once the doors are open to secure a coveted seat. We always complained that about them but can we do more? What do you say we start being kiasu and do the same and grab seats so that we can give up the seats for more needy people who come along rather than hope that someone else will do it? If no needy person comes along, just sit back and relax.

sometimes on the train. u must see wich MRT compartment u get on. the first and last compartment usually lesser people 1. the blue compartment near the stairs always the most crowded.
also look out for irregular arrival of the trains. for instance the next 2 trains will come in 3 mins and 2 mins time. the 3 mins one surely very crowded. take the next train at 2 mins, comfirm no people one. -

There was once when I was at Bangkok airport very early, lining up for my flight back home. In Bangkok, we usually leave early for the airport just in case there are traffic jams (and if no jam, then arrive at the airport early lor).
At the airport line just in front of me, there was this Singaporean couple complaining to each other that the line was so long already, although it was still early. They said that Singaporeans were kiasu and have to come early to line up, blah blah blah. But I was thinking....they are also very early what, lining up in front of me some more! -
singaporeans are stupid. some guy posted that depends wat compartment u go to. he/she is absolutely right. singaporeans just like to go to the center compartments and squeeze and stand when the orange sides can be almost empty. and they like to stand at the door and feel uncomfortable when they can see if they just squeeze their way 5 more steps you can have a large personal space to yourself.

Yes the aunties are really very fast. You should see the way they board buses. One moment you're ahead of them, the other moment you see a steady stream of aunties cutting(or trying to) their way ahead onto the bus. And they all have this very sour and stressed out expression on their faces. Sometimes I don't know whether to be annoyed with this particular group of people, or feel sorry for them.
