laptop internet connection

  Hey,
  
  Does any 1 know how to let laptop have internet connection?Does the freegift(modem) singnet can come in any use?
  
  Anywhere does taking the course engenering informatic need laptop?

  If you study in NP, a laptop is a must except for Early Childhood Education and Horticulture and Landscape Management courses.
  
  Latest editions of laptops mostly have their network card built-in. Older versions will need an external network card, where the user slit the card into the slot of the laptop, to connect to the wireless network.

  To allow the laptop to connect to internet, you need to check if the laptop has either a modem (which can be connected using a telephone line), wirelesss modem, or a ethernet port in it (if you are connecting to a lan)
  
  Not sure about the second question though...

  is it.. early childhood nv heard b4 la.. but last year NP say all course need laptop except horticulture and landscape and 1 more forgot wad.. my sis in NP studying tat course also nv buy...
