  think this is the rule that was made a long time ago...
  
  just like, why is: 1 + 1 = 2 ? why not 3? or 4? or % or any other symbol?
  In math, they called this an "axiom"; a mathematical sentence that do not need proof.
  
  In life, we called it "just take it whatever they want it to be"...

  as for answer, there's no answer. u want an answer, u go start your own language then u can provide yourself with answers to why your own language got all these rules. this kind of thing dun need to go n waste brain cells think about it. creative learning means applying critical thinking towards APROPRIATE questions, not going around questioning everything, even those which have no answers, and wouldn't affect u either way if u had an answer or not.
