chinese (s) or chinese (t)?

  me must create website.. then must put a word "chinese version" in chinese on the right hand side of the menu.. which one should i follow? simplified one or traditional???

  depends on who are the users to see.
  
  China people understand traditional more
  Singapore people understand simplfied more.

  Users in Hong Kong, Taiwan and some parts of Malaysia use Big5 encoding (traditional).
  Users in China and Singapore use GB encoding (simplified).

  if ur target audience is taiwan, china, then (t)
  
  if unsure, then (s) lah
  though i personally like (t)

  Not true. I know a few Taiwanese who does not know how to read Simplified Chinese.

  Anyway, for some of us here.
  
  China uses Simplified Chinese. In fact, they are the ones who created it. Mao created it to allow more Chinese to learn how to read/write. And Singapore and to a certain extend Malaysia are the only countries who actually follow them.
