Apart from the night markets , anyone can guide me where are the places I can go ?

CKS Musuem, that famous hotel(own by song family), Ping Lang Mei etc

Sighting seeing -
Yang ming shan, Dan shui river, Ji long river, Long shan si, Zhong zheng memorial hall
Shopping -
Taipei 101 (not cheap); Dan shui (cheap!); Wu fen pu; and of course, Xi men ding!
Eating -
Everywhere!
Hotel recomendation -
Stay somewhere near Ximen mrt station. Food and shopping very accessible. -
the "Zong Yi Da Ge Da " show if its included in tour

hey, mi too!! i'm going this may and I'm staying in their "ming shu" S$16 per night!! cheap seh!!!
Sightseeing - all historical landmark if you like history
thrilling part - go Liu Fu Cun or Jiu Zhu to try out their thrilling roller coaster.
shopping: their clothing are kinda same pricing in Singapore, not cheap

Perhaps u lik to go to taiwan Tourist centre...there u can get a lot of info, maps abt taiwan.....me tmr go office check where's e location, edit tmr nite.

I'm staying near Kilin Hotel. Is it very near XiMenDing?
Where are all the amusement parks located? Are they within Taipei?
What about DanShui? Is it accessible by the MRT?

If you're jay chow fan - go hunt for his antique shop at du hua nan jie, dong xiang
then have your dinner at "gui hua lian pian" - a restaurant in coffin concept at ba de lu section 2.
afterwhich go this hua li bai le yuan to take their "indoor fairy wheel" to view their taipei night view wahahaha
any taiwan food to recommend

Yes, there is a 'Danshui' mrt station.
In fact the public transport there is so convenient that u hardly need to transfer bus or train from one point to another. -

Take a Guoguang Bus from the North Station in Taipei or from the GuoGuang Stop
on Jongxiao East Rd Sec 4, diagonally across from the United Daily News.
Northern Coast:
Take a Guoguang (02-2558 3060) Bus from the North Station in Taipei on the
Coastal line to Luodong.The Bus stops on Various locations on the Coast..
If you are already in Keelung, then take a Keelung Bus (02-2432 3721) on the
Fulong Line and alight at your destination stop on the Coast. (One departure
per hour)
Jinguashih: From the front of the Keelung Railway Station take a Keelung Bus
to Jinguashih, On the way, the Bus stops at Jioufen and Rueifang.
Jioufen:
From the Exit #1 at MRT Stop: Zhongxiao-Fuxing, You can take a Keelung Bus to
Jiofen and Jingashih.

Leofoo: 1 hr 15min approximately.
Shopping Other thanin Hsimenting and Shihlin Might Market, Gongguan
there is :
WuFenPu Fashion Area is Opposite the Houshanpi MRT (Blue Line) and best to
visit after 4.30pm. Mondays not good to visit there.

Raohe Street Market. It is on the other side of the SongShan Train Station.
Check the Houshanpi Map.
You can visit it same evening after WuFenPu 6.30pm onwards. Great food there, Nice jeans shops as well. Fung Hsui items.
A very Nice Temple there as well.
Hsinyi District: Taipei City Hall MRT Stop
101 Mall, Neo19,Warner Village, New York New York, Singkong Mitsukoshi Dept
Stores are all in one area. Most of these open at about 11am ~ Till about 9.30 or 10 pm.
