robert is right to say that newcastle is getting from bad to worst. but he is also one of the guilty ones.
for the last 2 seasons newcastle has finished either 3rd or 4th. now they are not even in mid table. their only consolation is the UEFA or FA cup. now even the UEFA cup is beyond them. i seriously doubt they can beat man u in the FA cup. -

I think the players have basically abandoned the team by losing to Sporting Lisbon.
They just want another new manager - Alan Shearer.
It will be a eventual thing that Newcastle have to sack Souness.
He should learn from his soccer buddy - Keagen in retiring early. -

If I'm not wrong, Martin O'Neill won the Carling Cup with Leicester City back in 1996. When he left to take up his new appointment in Glasgow (and taking Neil Lennon with him), the foxes suffered and were eventually relegated.
Under O'Neill, Celtic had won the SPL a few times and also bagged the Uefa Cup in 2003 after beating Porto. -

Ah, sorry, Celtic finished runner up. But they impressed Uefa so much that Scotland were given an automatic slot in the UCL. newscastle is a disgrace. look at the way they played against man u. shearer really joined the wrong club. he will retire without a single medal.

Nope Shearer is in the right club. He's Geordie! But he has a lot of power in the club.....which is somewhat undesirable......
Most of the previous clubs that Souness managed ended their season either mid table or below mid table. He can be a displinarian, but why does no one understand that he is mediocre in handling a big club like newcastle???
I think Bobby should be brought back!!! No idea why he was sacked by Freddy Shephard, just because Shearer was not played in one game....Bobby was sacked......how can??? -
