Recently i saw a gallery at Sims Ave (opposite aljunied Mrt Stn) and came across what is a real dzi. they are so beautiful which attracted me (i bought one). i never came across ancient dzi till i go in. their explanation towards differentiating of new & old dzi is really good, it's really different from the new dzi that sold in the market. what i heard from them is that new dzi is taiwan and china dzi (modern man made).
they told me that by looking at the weather line and fish scale. ancient beads have round edge scales while new dzi have sharped edge and their scales are in uniform and chemical penetrate into the agate. so i was wondering does it bring side effect to our body if we contact them??????
