  Actually most hawkers use recycle oil... its usually lard oil and other oils mixed in.

  Now more advance liao. The oil is send back to a central location where all the burnt bits and blacken stuff are taken out. Even the smell ... The oil look dark golden yellow .. otherwise, looks like any other oil. Its just very disgusting... to think about it..
