It depends i guess... i mean what i say might offence certain females here... but there are really nice girls out there who go out with you cause you treating or whatever.... if it is those girls i think u can forget about it... for my case i do not really break the bill up down to the cents... but i mean when i go out with my gf or whatever... normally is i pay for the food and she pay for the movies... i think it will be better that way... instead of breaking it down... unless it is very expensive then she will pay me her part of the share...

If working, depends on who is earning more. Mostly the guys will pay.
If the r/s is stable, the girl won't mind paying occasionally.
This means she cares abt u & is not materialistic. -
