Do you donate to NKF or do you prefer to donate your money to poor familes

Don't know what NKF is. I make donations to Salvation Army in the USA.

why dont we donate to poor families instead of to the kidney patient ...
not being bad in heart, think about it. the chance for them to survive is low .... they are already almost to the end of their life ... i rather spend money to save those living people -

Well... I can't argue with your logic, but the sick deserved some medical care too. Since their days are number in this instant, by providing them the medical care to extend their lives, it gives them time to do something they may want to do all these time but never got the time to do it... If your days are numbered, will you not quickly think of doing something before you regret it?? i guess the government should be able to do some help ... in the sense ... but thinking of that ... why should we donate so much to them when we know it is time for them ... unless we know is someone like our age ...

To each his own but unless we got concrete evident, better not anyhow say thing lor... what you see may not be what it turn out lor... I remembered many years ago, I received an email from my colleague about NKF CEO... quickly I told her ( my colleague ) to stop forwarding blindly as that tentamount to spreading rumour... can get into trouble one... then it turned out the friend that sent her was caught... luckily given warning after she admitted that there was no reason/evident to the message she sent.. She only hear about it ... sad... imagine my colleague, she was so worried then ... NO! i will not pay for their biz class air tix and nice lavish lounge. now before i get shoot back, my ex use to work there. while waiting for here i see this lavish lounge that they have. got waitress somemore. and somemore, they have no transparancy... dunno where the money go to..

whichever charitable organisation you have donated to there is no way you can tell how the money is spent or where it has ended up. one good example is the billions donated to the tsunami victims. unless you have proof of wrongdoing otherwise please just donate freely as you are willing. or give the money personally to poor families that you know, like antoh suggested.

It's better to donate directly to the receiving end than to all those so-called foundations or fund. You don't know how they gonna use the money they collected. 3 dollars donation may end up 10 cents in the hands of the beneficial. It's like buying thing, the more ppl you go through, that thing will be more expensive.
If not why NKF still collecting $$$ when their reserved fund is more than 190 mils? Another bloodsucking organisation in disguise. -
