Is it just me or anyone else felt a difference - what's happening to the MX these days? Those 2 guys just go yaba-yaba non-stop - what makes them think we are more interested in listening to their often dimwit opinions than listening to songs? Throw in those hopelessly uncreative commercials they're paid to repeat every half hour, selling lies about how they're going to book this condo unit, how wonderful is that breath refreshening oral strips, ... etc, etc, and you get really turned off by their running commentary on anything and everything.
OK, so FD's not half as bad as GO. This morning GO's trying to tell pple that Singapore's going to have a casino, just becos he dreamt about it. The whole gawdamned country knows we're going to have a casino, so stop all these personal and self-glorifying trash talk, OK? And what's that he said this morning? Yeah, right - if people are stupid enough to gamble their lives away then they deserve it, right? Just becos it wouldn't affect him or his loved ones, right? What about the families, the children, especially? Should the innocents and the defenceless suffer? I'm not here to start another casino debate, but the way he dismissed concerns and worries about social costs of casino is just plain selfish and pathetic!
At least FD takes criticisms on the chin, whether or not they're justified. GO is just so full of himself it's beginning to irritate the hell out of me every time I tune in in the morning. I'm already strting to switch stations every time I hear their voices on the station.

Yeah, Glen Ong is the Caramon of radio stations. I stopped listening after he commented about the the Terry Schiavo case when he clearly did not know the details. I find perfect10 and class95 very interesting , lame at times but they are funny. Power98 is the worst radio crap station i ever come across,in my opinion they are darn lame and I banned that radio station from my handphone and stereo, that is how low and badly i think of power98.

Well agreed with you, think Morning Express totally lost their direction.
They forgot what make them a sucessful station that provide people with distraction from their busy schedule, that they can drift of listen to some relaxing fun, relax, casual station.
Recently they kept repeating the same topics and all too serious type, and FD and GO did a poor 1/2 heart debate session every time. If people want news they would have listen to news channel, they would read newspaper. Please I don't want to heard about the goddamn serious topics like casino debate, give me some thing more light hearted, maybe some hollywood gossip or something more leisure type. -

I actually enjoy the morning express everytime i tune in....Maybe it helps that i don't tune in everyday.. -

That's not the point. Class 95 used to be my favourite, for the songs they play and the DJs (yes - FD, Petrina and Joe Augustine era was good), but now it's just talking and talking and advertisements and more talking. At least they could have invited more callers, but everythingÂ’s on sms nowadays, and you just get so sick of their voices and especially GOÂ’s cynical and derisive comments.
The alternatives? P10 and P98 not really my cup of tea, guess itÂ’s the oldies at 90.5 thenÂ… -
