The zoo keeper was lucky that the crocodile that attack him is only gharial which is fish eating. If that the Estuarine Crocodile, he is a goner !!!
The Zoo is making good money but poor staff is overwork and underpaid !!! Zoo spend so much money on making theme enclosure, that they think they focus more on other things then animals !!!
Think they just earn the record of major 3 incident within 9 days ! Wow that it be in the history of records with the world Zoos organisation. With 3 major incident, think it truthly reflect on the Zoo managament. -
Not sure if this is true, but do look out for the newspapers report tomorrow :
Some visitors who were visiting the Singapore Zoo with the family today.
At around lunch time, the family were momentarily stunned at the lion
exhibit by, what could be described as fearsome and extremely heart gripping.
The entire pride of the lions were at each other throats, roaring ferociously
in a desperately struggle.
They were about to jump out of the enclosure. And everyone ran for their lives.
One visitor has just written in to SPH telling them to call Singapore Zoo to find out the details.
If it is true, I look forward to reading interesting report on this. -
Sometime fight for leadership. Anyway the lions can never jump out, as the water is too wide and deep which does not provide them the need support to jump. Btw, the new zoo management (since 2004) were previously from MacDonalds. No zoo, veterinary, wildlife conservation background. Only "cheeseburger upsize the coke" experience.
This is so sad. This was one of the top 10 zoos in the world (once upon a time, before year 2004). -

Lao heow only care about money making aspect, totally forgot that they are running a ZOO. Plus, she's pampering herself by having a very expensive renovation of the office building.
