  I know someone who has actually tried to use toothpaste as a facial wash during army days...

  don't try it. Will make it worse.
  Use an antiseptic lotion or pimple cream instead.
  In fact, washing your face with facial soap might just do the trick.

  i remember when small we went camping, my friends use toothpaste and apply on ppl face and neck.

  NO!!! please don't!!! the advice is crap! putting toothpaste on your pimples will only worsen your condition!!! I tried before and it also have been reported in a magazine, so please do not risk it

  ok i dun have pimples but i applied a fair amt on my neck and w8ed for abt 10mins. all i feel is that part is a bit cooler and a little red.. nothing much.
