Question regarding web server

  I've updated a website.. but when i view it at internet explorer, the page was the old ones.. why is that so ??? but when i preview using dreamweaver before publishing, it's the one i've updated.. is there a lag or something? The web server is and India company with server either base in India or US.. Can help anyone?

  hmmm i did many times.. but it's only after 3 or 4 days the website's update on its own.. took so long..

  You run web hosting company and you don't know?
  
  Anyway, my guess is that it's cached on IE, so you keep seeing the cache instead of the site

  Or maybe you are using linked images, that's why it took longer to load? Since you are running on another web hosting server, you could also check out for the software help for further info?

  it take some time to show the latest update..
  
  even geocities .....sometimes take about 5min to show the update .........
  
  sometimes server buzy .... or slow mah
