"life is beautiful", is life really beautiful?

hmm, it's common knowledge that life is full of ups and downs.
for people out there
is your life more on the up side or on the down side?
feeling happy? satisfied? how many percent of your life would you classify as really "beautiful"? -
i'd say my life is blissfully plateu.

How beautiful life is, will depend on how you see it.
If you see all things positively,even if everyday got bad things happen on you,you will still see life as beautiful.
If you see life negatively,even if everyday good things happen on you,you will still see life as ugly. -
You can view life from alot of perspectives.

Beauty of life is what I see around me. A young bird learning to fly. A mothering cat playing with her kittens. Trees swaying in the wind. The sound of silence killing traffic. A small child with her parents, and they look so genuinely blissful that you want to kiss them..
To me, this is beauty. -

life is as beautiful as you allow it to be
heck, i know of some people in terrible conditions, and they're happy, hopeful and working hard at trying to improve their lot, without a complaint...
then i know of some people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth.. but they are unhappy people who go out of their way to be pathologically miserable.. seeing and seeking out things that are not there in order to feed their own need to feel as if the world is out to get them and they are "oppressed" or worse.. to feel miserable...
life is beautiful... just let it be beautiful, be optimistic and work towards that optimism... and it is

Life is a many faceted mirror
it can be really beautiful
but at the same time it can be terribly ugly
ultimately it depends on
the person who is looking at the reflection
and what he wants to see
if all he wants to focus is the pimple on his nose
then sooner or later, all the reflections will just show his imperfections
and imperfection of the world around him
if all he wants is to look at his scars, and be reminded of the pain
sooner or later the mirror will just show him
what he wants to see
if all he wants to see is a handicap body or soul
will all he will see will be loss
if he is able to look at his own reflection
and see the beauty of creation in mundanity
of existence, or every being's uniqueness
of life of sunshine, of shadow plays, of hopes and chances
even if the mirror is cracked and imperfect
his reflection will show him the best that can be.
So don't blame the mirror for the reflection you see. -
give simple, straight forward answer. dont have to be so poetic.
