anyone game for a riddle? its driving me nuts! from perplexcity.com for anyone who plays this as well......
My first's simply a vegetable, delicious, round and green.
My third and fourth are sound asleep, as plainly can be seen.
My fifth is fifty, clear enough for any riddle-setter.
Two of my second on their sides will give my final letter.
Now that my second has my parts, fit them together well
You see me now before your eyes, it's plain for all to tell.

CAAGE (third and fourth asleep)
CAAGE (5 letter onward is assembled as 'AGE', riddler's age is 50, clear to him/her)
A->/\ (two of second is 'A', plus third A cos same letter, take away the - from 'A' -> '/\')
- + - (join and inverted to become I to be final letter??)
/\ + /\ = M (second has parts, fit them together become M)
so I+MAGE is IMAGE? -
