  hmm.. this is a hard question.. it depends actually.. on the situation.. on the stuff you talk about or do.. etc etc.. so i would say.. i am close to both of them and i love both of them equally =).. you can't really compare.. one's your mom.. one's your dad.. unless you have more than one of each..

  when mum died...lost sense of direction...
  
  but somehow my dad was there for me everytime..although he didnt quite bother me so much cos i needed space to get over the loss of my mum...
  
  8 years on...me and my dad are like very close frens...in more ways than not....he is like a life-advisor to me

  Depends on situation. Mostly speak to my mum because I see her only when I am back from work or school, my father would be working by the time I reach home.
