I have to say its the best wu xia drama

Fighting cheorography is fantastic, not like those with too much special effects

The masked man aka Ah Zi lover, Beggar Sect leader, brings some of his beggars to Shaolin and he tells the abbot, "I want to fight you. I want to fight you. I want to decide who is the supreme leader of the pugistic world"
The abbot replies, "why do you keep on forcing me? <>
The abbot follows by saying, "Looks like you leave me with no choice..." and starts to fight. At that point i was laughing till my stomach ache. Beggar sect brings 20 men to Shaolin HQ and abbot says beggar sect is threatening shaolin? Where is the logic?
Next, Xu Zhu fights Ding Chun Qiu. The Duan prince cocubined and some others complemented, they looks like dancing, very graceful... I hope i dont see real dancing in the show.
Nevertheless, nice sceneries and fighting scenes. -
To Cindyfeh:
Aiyo, the abbot of shaolin wanted to accept his fight but he have to make it clear that it's the beggar sect trying to challenge him and not the other way round...
This is the 'jiang hu gui ju'....so that if later on there are any deaths or casualties it's not shaolin's fault.
Regarding the dancing part...it's because both xing xiu lao guai and xu zhu have xiao yao sect's internal strength and qing gong so it's graceful (i.e like dancing..
lolx)
Btw, the fighting scenes are great!! The drama doesnt have over exaggerated special effects and the moves are cool...ling bo wei bu, liu mai shen jian...i also like xu zhu's tian shan zhe mei shou when he fought jiu mo zhi.
Sadly, the xiang long 18 zhang doesn't really impress me though... -
