How often do you change a job?

  i have seen ppl changing their jobs every 2months,whereas myslf is abt 6mths-9mths.its not that we do not commit but at times employers are like sh*t..

  2 yrs will look better on the resume
  if u keep hopping, ur potential employers might think u not loyal, cannot commit....

  I know of some HRs who told me that they dump and throw into the waste paper baskets on all those applicants with lots of job experience to share within their short work experience.

  you can job hop only if you are young. once past 30 i seriously doubt you can afford the luxury.

  Feels like changing job because my current serves no prospect... But caught in a dilemma because...
  
  March ---> got chance of appraisal bonus
  July ---> got chance of increment
  December ---> got AWS.
  
  I don't even know which month should i tender my resignation so as not to lose out...
  
  P.S I'm not trying to brag or show off anything.
