How about we post pictures of the places that we have visited, coupled with a short description of the place? This would help would-be travellers who have yet to decide on a destination.

Selected pictures from my trip to Hay-on-Wye, Wales.
Hay on Wye is a small market town located just across the English Border in Wales. Its claim to fame is that it specialises in 2nd Hand Bookstores, and it is even claimed that it has the largest 2nd hand bookstore in Europe. Its most famous resident would probably be Mr Richard Booth who, as part of a publicity stunt, declared himself King of Hay-on-Wye. It is also the site of an annual Literary Festival during which time the Town plays host to more than 50000 visitors. More information can be found on the
