ATI Radeon X300

  Hello... Ive got a problem with my Gecube ATI Radeon X300 256MB... for the past 3 months since I got my new comp there wasn't any problem at all.. but recently, my comp keeps hanging and restarting. After restart my XP error report reads that a possible device failure has occured and that the suspected device is my graphics card. This doesn't always happen but I suspect it happens only when my graphics card overheats. Anyone here has the same problem with the X300 series? or with Gecube cards? I've seen Gecube come up with the X300SE cards... maybe it's because they found out about this problem? If my card really has an overheating problem what can i do about it? As my warranty still stands, is it possible for me to send it back to ATI for some enhancement or even a free upgrade to the SE? ( though unlikely ). What else can I do?? Someone pls help!

  Hmm...relocate your computer to a room with air con?

  I had this problem in the past as well. I added an additional fan into my tower and the problem went away.

  You need an extra cooling fan to take that heat load away. Another possibility is the memory that goes with the card.

  Upgrade to X300SE? Actually you will be doing a downgrade instead if you did that. X300 SE is actually the lower end version of X300.
