  there IS a lifetime warranty.sorta.
  
  but u gotta pay 16bux for the shipment of the bag all the way back to aussie for them to sew it back or mend it or jus settle wadeva's wrong with ur bag..
  
  and yea.u can still send it there to fix it even if u purposely cut ur bag.u jus waste 16bux, plus a loong wait for the bag to come back. ( :

  Hmm..mine was bought in 2000.But I would use a Deuter anyday over a Crumpler...this backpack of mine has gone through many rough and tumbles of overseas travels and it is still going strong..
  
  Domke is better than Lowe Pro but the latter is good enough if you are a serious hobbyist and not a nature photographer.

  Then it's not called Lifetime warranty. It's still considered limited warranty mah.

  Under warranty means FOC repair for defects or manufacturing faults only. Cutting up ur bag not included. LIFETIME warranty? Crumpler muz close shop already.
  Fixing an old bag after warranty period after-sales service, most often chargeble.
