SE 700i phone a threat to privacy rights of woman

U all know that most camera handphones cannot have the camera snapshot sound remove. Many reasons attribute to this, which one of them would be protecting the privacy right of an particular individual should the subject be snapshot without knowledge. Recently i purchased the SE700i phone becos of its features and had a great 1.3 mp camera. I check out the camera and of cos there's is no option to disable the camera snapshot sounds, however, I found out that if u turn the phone into slient mode, there is no camera snapshot sound! This is certainly disturbing, considering the fact that 700i have the best phone camera in all the mega-pixel phone range, unrivalled for it sharp focus. I do hope that SE will realease its new software correcting this problem as soon as possible

Now there are so many digital cameras, even 5 megapixel....also no sound what.
And what about phones with video capabilities and dedicated camcorders?
And even if there is sound, in the open and noisy surroundings, I don't think the cam sound can be heard.
And even in a semi-quiet environment, I can pretend to talk loudly with someone and cover up the sound.
Or if the subject victim is using MP3 headphones, or talking on the phone, or talking with her friends....she won't notice too.
And if its from a distance too, the sound may not be heard.
Hmmmmm.....I suggest we ban all cameras and phones in Singapore. And ban women from wearing skirts and low-cut tops. Maybe ban people from going out of their houses too.
By the way, I think the 700i is no longer in production. -
hah. my k700i got sound leh....and i dun even haf the intention of taking woman's pic.
