TTSH Community Charity Fund Presents Charity Movie Premiere
The Tan Tock Seng Endowment Fund Unit (The Hospital's very own Charity) is holding a charity movie premiere of "War of the Worlds" on 28 June 2005, Tuesday, at Orchard Cineleisure, at 7.30pm. This movie is a contemporary remake of H.G. Wells' science fiction classic about aliens invading Earth.
Tickets are sold at $200 (preferred seating) and $50.
Proceeds from all ticket sales will go towards the TTSH Community Charity FundÂ’s Needy Patients Programme.

About Tan Tock Seng Endowment Fund
In keeping with our Legacy of Caring, Tan Tock Seng Hospital set up the Tan Tock Seng Endowment Fund in August 1995 to assist the less fortunate patients.
The charity fund provides financial support for medical research, education and most importantly, needy patients. It enables the hospital to continue its tradition to care for the well being of the community; the needy and their families.
Through the years, the Endowment Fund has helped the less fortunate patients to receive additional treatment and services, from drugs used for chronic illnesses (like arthritis, cancer, diabetes, HIV and lupus), daily aids and medical aids such as wheelchairs and oxygen ventilators to home care services and training of caregivers.

This charity has very little fund, but it has so many patients lining up for the money.... so many sick people who can't afford the medical treatments. -
