  dude i had to leave my closest friends and go to a new country to face totally new people and a new environment.. take it as a challenge man.. and truth be told.. im pretty much enjoying myself now.. just that i miss my sg friends once in awhile

  Friends come and go. As the saying goes, "old don't go, new don't come".
  
  Even though it takes two hands to clap, you could nevertheless make an active effort to stop yourself drifting away from them. You could initiate gatherings by calling them out for meals, movies, or whatever you used to do together.
  
  Some may still drift away, but there should be at least one or two who would still appreciate your efforts to keep everybody together and respond positively.

  i am still going out with my primary school fren. even though now we are both married. come june we are even bringing out wives to bali. u just got to make an effort to stay in touch
