Who thinks sec school , JC or Poly rocks in the 90s?!!

who ah i miss those times. We teenagers of past didnt really have to pay so much transport money in the past, only 60 cents farecard. Books not so ex
1)The trend back then was to buy assesmment books from stores, Now the trend is more like buying school exam papers from other schools.In the past school dont release their papers to other competing schools
2) Weekends can go and enjoy clubbing scene in boat quay and BBQ at East Coast. It was a vibrant clubbing trend with people truly behaving like classy western teen wear the branded clothes, yeah?
3)The ones who decided to take thre wrong path in life ended up in gangs and SS. Always had the staring incidents and girl problem after school. Very common
4) We had so many memorable moments at the cinemas. Dinosaurs in Juraasic Park, Jim Carrey in The Mask, Kate and Leo in Titanic, Machositic Keanu Reeves in Speed and bigtime "gang with a motive" flicks from Jerry Bruckheimer. These were the movies which can be pigeonholed in a particular genre
4) what else can u think of....pls add on!!
How does these things made our our schooling life so much memorable and fun?
We had more time to enjoy them in a way. Nowaday what does the teen do? -

The trend when hp is not popular whereas pagers are and students hide the pagers under their teacher's desk to avoid being caught by them.

yah.. those days were great. but sometimes i wonder if we think so only because we are comparing what our lives now with our lives then: that will be comparing apples with oranges, since we are comparing working with schooling.
i bet if you ask a sec school kid now to live as we did then, he/she will prob pengsan and wont be able to imagine how we lived then - without handphones, without internet, etc...
in the end, it's all about human's obsession with the past: the "good ole" past. but we cannot afford to go back to the past, and live those simple lives, can we? it means not advancing and prospering.

Those were the times where students were obessed with branded products
such as Guess, Armani, roccobarroco(forget the spelling liao) etc. Like to wear
branded specs, long long branded wallets but inside no/little cash, bengs like
to put the sharp long comb behind their pockets. Not to forget those ugly
cross colours pants, the popular alba spoon, baby G watches. Those days, i
dun know how i spend time without internet. Probably playing
soccer/basketballs with sec friends after school. How i missed those
days....
