Depends on the person lor....
If the person doesn't care less, then there's no punishment at all.
If he takes offence at the insult, you can get sued by him.
I remember once there was a civil suit filed against someone who used Hokkien (or was it Cantonese) profanities on another. Can't remember the outcome, though. -

mus find witness, evidence.....which is quite hard to find
even if got witness the witness oso scared trouble, not willing to testify.....
unless u everyday prepare a recorder and record arguments..... -
