what to do with 1 cents coins?

i got $3.00+ worth of 1 cent coins, which means around 300+ 1 cents coins, accumulated over the years. now i don't know what to do with them.
can't spend them since most vendors won't accept. go bank exchange or deposit also bohua since they charge a fee, too much for the trouble of wasting time going down, queue up etc
so what can i do with these coins? my only idea is throw them into rubbish dump. any better idea? -

it is legal tender. i think you can use a maximum of 25 per purchase.

If memory didn't fail me, there are donation boxes at check out counters of grocery stores, right? How about dropping it in?

If you bring it to UOB, just bring 199 pieces. The first 199 pieces are free of charge. =) Any amount more than 199 pieces will be charged at $1 per 200 pieces or part of 200 pieces.

The 1 cent coins are legal tender up to $2/-, that means you can use 200 at one go.

the cost of making 1 X 1 cent is about 5 cent. that why it stop.
melt it and sell off as copper... you MAY be getting $5 for it.

It is illegal to throw into the bin or to destroy any currency note or coin.
There are donation boxes in fast-food restaurants and supermarkets. If you don't want to spend your coins, give them away to the needy. -
