Eating one meal a day isnt gonna let U lose weight in the long term...
Eating one meal a day will let Ur body gt the wrong signal...Ur body will start to detect tt U r eating less and less and will activates its so called 'starvation mode' which means the body will start to store more fats in Ur system as a mean of conservation of energy for future use...which is the opposite of wat U r trying to achieve...
Here is wat I recommend U shld do:
1) Exercise...I know most gals hate doing it...but its a must...
Cardio exercise
Cardio is a sure way of reducing fats in Ur body but make sure U wun overdo it...3 - 5 times a week shld be enuf...cardio workout can include aerobics, running and swimming juz to name a few...
Always remember to warm up Ur joints and muscles before workout...
Bodybuilding
Bodybuilding is another way of reducing fats...more muscles in Ur body means more fats r being burn everyday to substain the muscles...nt to mention the fats burn during the daily workouts U haf...
Most gals may fear of becoming too muscular...but dun worry...U dun haf the neccessary hormones to grow big enuf like the guys...
Workout for beginners who juz wanna tone their body...3 workouts per week shld be alrite...go for light weights...with high reps...n make sure U haf someone knowledgable to help U with Ur workout...
As usual remember to warm up Ur joints and muscles before workout...
P.S: Always advise a doc before embarking on any exercise regiment...
2) Diet...
Diet doesnt mean U haf to delete any food which contain fats and carbohydrates from Ur menu...some gd fats r actually beneficial...carbohydrates and protein are actually very important in building up Ur body muscles and maintaining Ur normal body functions...nt to mention the vitamins...
As I said earlier eating less isnt really a solution...U shld eat more instead...for e.g. 6 meals per day...
Dun gt me wrong...I mean 6 meals in smaller portions spread out during the day...try to avoid suppers...
This will keep the body metabolism rate going the whole day...
U wun miss out the essentials nutrients and U acheive Ur aim of slimming...
Dun forget the fruits...vegetables...n the meat (without the fatty skin)...
3) Coping with stress...
Coping with stress is a important aspect of slimming which a lot of ppl disregard...once U r stress...the body cannt function as well as it normally can when U r happy or at ease...thus Ur body's ability to reduce fats is greatly reduced...so be happy...
4) Drink lots of water...
Water helps to flush out the unneccessary 'stuff' from Ur system...n by drinking cold water...the body needs to apply 'extra heat' to make the temperature of the water lower which means in the process...it burn fats for the heat...but rem dun overdrink cold water...drink in moderation...
5) Avoid fatty or sugar - laden food...
I dun need to explain more on this...once U gt hooked on this for one or two day...ur efforts for the week...or even for the month has gone down the drain...
If U really nd to eat those...juz eat one small portion once every one or two weeks...as a reward for Ur hardwork during the week...but do nt overeat...its very unhealthy...
I hope my advice will help those who r going thru the same process as I am...
