singaporeans always dislike/complain about things they are not used to, instead of finding out more about new things. You all say ban the FLG, yes i agree they seem like a weird bunch. But how qualified are u to talk about them? What little you know, u read in the ST or news. Then act like big time experts. LOL no wonder singaporeans are leading a banal existence here. This does not only apply to FLG, you can just insert the problem of choice.
Just like the bloody casino issue, so many people were against it, citing social ills and moral erosion as an issue. But i think those people were just SCARED they weren't morally RESPONSIBLE enough to draw the line between gambling leisurely and gambling their houses away. "What we can't conquer, we BAN." THAT should be the motto of Singaporeans.
BTW i don't condone gambling, im just citing examples. -
