Ok, so the doctor thinks I've got cancer...

  Ok guys, this is not a +1 thread..
  
  Recently, I went to my family doctor for like the 15th time this year, same symptoms, diarrhoea and fatigue, but this time with bright red stools. After further questioning and references to my medical records, the doctor advised me to go for cancer screening as I may have colon cancer.
  
  I was like WTF?!!! I'm only 23 this year, and colon cancer only hits men above 50, at least, most of the time..
  
  Here is the complete list of the signs the doctor noticed:
  Severe loss of apetite x 1 year
  Loss of weight
  Diarrhoea x 4 - 5 months
  Bright red stools (bleeding in large intestines) x 3 weeks
  
  Anyone out there had similar experiences? Know of anyone who had colon cancer?
  
  I'm hoping it's just a harmless tumor or ulcer, my colonoscopy (camera stuck up your ass) is next week, the wait is killing me..

  i hope your doc found it early as at stage 1, the chances of total recovery is about 90%

  Might not be cancer. Maybe it's something else. Do you eat your vegetables?

  I do eat a fair share of everything, but have been eating very little, at best 1 meal a day, at worst 1 meal every 4 days..
