Are there any Budget airlines that fly to Japan?

  I dont see Japan as one of the destinations for Valuair and Air Asia leh. Anyone knows of any other budget airlines that fly to japan?

  Unfortunately none of the budget airlines fly there.
  
  The only thing you can do is wait for the price to drop. (like me).
  
  Currently some airlines sometimes offer the price as low as $428 (before tax) i.e. if you don't mind stop overs.
  
  I have been watching the fares for the past few mths and currently waiting for the price to drop.

  Unless the destination is within 4 1/2 hours from Singapore, otherwise you can continue dreaming on.

  Your only way is to perth, then take a domestic flight from there and fly the other way around to the eastern seaboard. Which will set you back at least another 400bucks(off peak), that is if the airport tax doesnt kill you first, and if you do the sums, its more beneficial taking krissflyer class on 7+ hour direct flight.

  In time to come, the budget airlines will start on new routes including Japan. By then when it happens, JAL might not be able to secure their base here liao..

  u go Mel or Syd, worse...apt taxes at e current moment is $231 (almost 2/3 of the air tkt)

  Yeah, I understand that, but Brisbane Int'l Airport! Look at the immigration counters, look at the queue after every arrival. Makes you wonder where your SGD$162(return fare) just for their airport tax goes to.
