"My car kiss a taxi's backside"

  My friend's friend's car yesterday, on the way to fetch me, kiss the backside of a taxi on the expressway. He paid the taxi driver $500. Is the amount reasonable or not?

  yah.. reasonable.. how can anyhow kiss other people's ar one?/ u must compensate also for the emotional damage done to the taxi....

  always will be the behind car's fault...
  why didn't keep safe distance from taxi...

  your friend in the wrong mah...
  if want to debate the compensation amt, then must report police,
  send to workshop, send to insurance, then your insurance will pay his workshop etc. etc.
  not sure the exact process, but think quite troublesome...
  usually ppl will pay the $$$ to save the trouble
