i dunno wad kinda animals u're refering to. But i tink they're refering to pets. Coz pets had been so well fed N taken care of ... they had lost their ability to survive in the wild. They might nt noe hw to protect emself how to search for food N so on.

wild leh... a lot of ppl r havin illigel pets nowadays. Well, releasing of any animals tigers lions or crocodiles will affect the ecosystem.
