Whats e intention of providing a false status in Friendster?

I know of someone who puts herself as SINGLE in friendster. Not even IN A RELATIONSHIP.
She is married. Her husband not happy with it and they quarrelled. But I guess he got no balls and she got her way.
Why would she want to do that? -
It's friendster, it's online, it's in your control, it's not an obligation to provide accurate info.
