any lobang of a good piano teacher?

suppose to be going for my piano lesson now...
but eversince the last lesson with her, really makes me doubt whether she knows how I feel when she's teaching me...
I mean, I know I'm suppose to listen to her and follow her style of teaching. but, i think if i can skip her lesson, there must be something really wrong with her (or perhaps me, or US) cos i NEVER skip a single lesson when i was with my other piano teacher for 4 months.
i mean, she know i'm having a problem with my pacing... last lesson i had with her, all she did was to say "wrong", "too slow", "too fast"... while i struggle there all by myself.
she told me to count in my head. but hey, if i can do that while i'm looking at the score and pressing the keys at the same time, and without making any mistakes while doing all these, i dont need her in the first place, right?
she just says without showing me exactly how lar...
and i dun wish to tell her how i feel cos i think it'll only make the lesson (and future lessons) more awkward...
that's why, i dont blame her for her style of teaching, but i just feel that things are wrong somewhere.
shld I go start looking for a new piano teacher? -

to bad she left for overseas to further her studies, so i tried learning at community centres cos i THOUGHT piano teachers all suppose to be good. -

yamaha is like, charging $120+++ per month, 4 lessons 45mins each... -

but how do you self-teach yourself?
i only managed to self-learn a simple peice of Jay Chou's Long Juan Feng after about a month's work. still can't play it well, but still trying to improve.
btw, i'm still a grade one

the VERY 1st piece I self-taught myself is minuet in g.

dun jump straight to modern pieces
